Keluarga (Family)

Salam everyone..

We'll learn more words today :)

In the class, cikgu teaches us about Keluarga (Family)

Father = Ayah 

Mother = Ibu

Datuk = Grandfather 

Nenek = Grandmother 

Kakak = big sister 

Adik perempuan = younger sister 

Abang = big brother 

Adik lelaki = younger brother 

Adik-beradik = Sibling 

Kanak-kanak = kids 

Bayi = baby 

This time, I didn't just learn new words..

cikgu started teaching us how to make sentences :)

Bahasa Melayu is just like English, it has past, present and future tense :

Past : the word "Telah" / "sudah" in a sentence shows past tense ;

- Kakak sudah memasak.

- Adik telah minum teh.

Present : the word "Sedang" shows present tense ;

- Nenek sedang makan ayam.

Future : the word "Akan" shows future tense :

- Datuk akan memotong ikan.

The red words up there are "verbs" 

Memask = cook

Minum = Drink

Makan = Eat

Memotong = cutting
